do you believe there's a difference between sex and gender?

do you believe you're born a woman/man...or do you become one? what experiences lead to it? or why do you believe you're born already a woman/man?

Blog Assignment 1: so it begins...

My name is Senya. I'm a design major and this is my junior year. I regularly blog but in my blog I don't like capitalizing my letters. I'm not exactly sure why that is, maybe i'm lazy but hey it's not being graded.

Honestly, I registered for this class because it was the most interesting class I could find on the west campus with classes on T & TH. Nonetheless, I'm interested in exactly what women studies means and what we'll be learning. Like we've discussed in class before, most people regard any classes centering around women to be largely lesbian talk and ferocious feminists movements and I'm sure that this will be discussed throughly, but I'm interested in what else will be discussed. I have an idea but I'm excited to learn more.
